The kit is now released!
to be honest, it looks and sounds absolutely fantastic! yeah yeah time for all e-haters to flame around now how crappy it is and that you can do street magic and so on without these toys bla bla. however, who isn't like that should check it out. it really looks very good. you get 3 hours of dvd. a lot of probs and even a wiregram which might be interesting for people who don't own one. have fun!

It does seem interesting. I like the premise of the Super Sharpie and the Invisible Ink.
One thing that comes to mind is a variation of Deep Astonishment. You use a business card to find the mate and the word is imprinted on the card in invisible ink. It gives the effect a more shock revelation as opposed to oppenly showing a prediction |

Yeah, nice idea. I like the sharpie as well. I think you can do a lot crazy things with it, like all the ash pen tricks can be done at night and so on. it is really kool. but I think if I order it I will preactise it with a normal sharpie lol. if this pen runs out of ink a new one costs nearly 50 bucks o_O
do you own the deep a. 1 or 2?

I love the music from ellusionst. ellusionist has by far the best previews and trailers on the net. they use prodigy and other superb music. highly professional cameras and cuts, great disegns of everything and always a killer sound!
@ alex: you sound jealous....i think the guys from hocus pocus, penguin, and every other store wants to amke money too... so plz.................... @ magicguy67: of course you can. as soon as you have your routine and you wanne test it you can use a niormal sharpie and pretend like it is invisible ink, just that you know the pattern of your routines... that's what I meant. of course you cannot dublicate the effect.... greetings Jah

Don't get me wrong...I'm not jealous... I'm just really impressed at how good these guys are... They could make the 21 card trick sound like a miracle!
I'd actually buy the thing if it wasn't for the fact that my friend has been doing that stuff for years...

Nihehe there you are right. I must often smile when I read what they say about a trick. they really do their job well. everything they promote sounds unique and uncomparably. I absolutely agree. but I think a normal person without a braindamage can figure out for himself or herself whether to purchase such a product or not, whether ellusionist say it is the best trick in the world or not. as long as you think for yourself this or that is a great idea or killer effect you should get it
besides that: I would like to know where your friend has the uv sensitiv ink got from? and all the other uv stuff. greetings Jah

Honestly, I really like the idea. It sort of opens up a new... well, that's just it. Its hard to explain. With the right patter you could really do some damage with the new effects possible. You could go back to old effects and really enhance it.
Heres an idea I posted in the ellusionist forums. If you know that your going to be able to use this thing then go for it. I will post up a review when I get mine. I was actually NOT going to get it. I didn't like the idea or ANYTHING about the kit. But then Justin Miller was shiped a kit early to test drive it. ( http://www.closeupartist.com ) He said it was AWSOME and that untill I tried it I had no idea what I was missing. At that point I decided it will be worth a try. And since I had some cash *performing a ton lately* I went ahead and bought the kit. ""Hey I was thinking about the effect Stigmata that will be re released all suped up and stuff. When I got this idea stuck in my head with the Scorpion... Patter You "Now the biblical definition of stigmata is the bleeding of the palms. (im not going to get into religous stuff here). Often, very religous people have claimed to suffer from visible stigmata. If you are familiar with this you would know that there are two types of this effect. Visible and invisible wounds. The invisible wounds probably hurt the most. I wouldnt know, because I am not a sufferer of stigmata. Now all I want you to do is just think of any card (name, number, word, whatever). Now I want you to invision that word in your head, see it running through your veins. All the way into the tips of your fingers. LOOK! CAN YOU SEE THAT! It might be a little dark, But check this out. (Pulls out blacklight and shines on spectators palm)" Spec "MOM?!" |
