To all: we have made a couple of changes to our site http://www.escapeguy.com and in particular the photo at the home page is in question. Basically some of our staff likes it, the others, not because they think it may be too graphic.
We would welcome your input, Pull no punches
thanks
Michael
PS: In the spirit of this politically correct time (I can wish the following as I have never been terribly politically correct) I will wish you all a merry christmas, happy hanukka, and for some of you groovy kwanza.

Hello Michael

I found the gun to the head to be a very disturbing image. What is the idea you are trying to convey????

Hi: thank you for your comment. The photo was shot during "an exersise in chance" it is a routine involving 4 loaded revolvers it can scare the audience

I have to second the thought on the gun to the head being quite graphic. Without some context as to what is going on, it is a disturbing image. I don't see any problem with having an image like that on the site though as long as people understand what it is. Maybe adding a caption to it would help.

I have a piece in my show that creates so much tension in the audience they are about to burst by the time its over. I can imagine a gun routine would do a similar thing.

I would have to agree with Carnegie. As long as we understand why its up there, then it would be ok. Also, who would be seeing these pictures online? Keep in mind audience. Some people may find that offensive, or disturbing.

Hey!

I like the intro picture also, but I tend to be a nutcase about black and white photography. (My whole show is based on B&W with slight accent colors.) The pictures are very solid. I like them too. But here's the problem. What are they for? Who are they supposed to sell to, and how?

A caption, at the top of the picture (because it saves some folks having to scroll down) would make sense. "Escape, or else!" is a bit too hokey sounding, but something along those lines.
