Has anyone here had any experience with these?

Do you mean Steve Dusheck?
He informed me he is currently retired and does not produce magic tricks any longer except his Ringer and a video I found on his site once. He is a member of the Café also. As far as Multiplying Balls, I was never aware that he ever produced a set of Multiplying Balls. I could of course be wrong as he produced many items back in the 1970's and 1980's. If you are speaking of a manuscript or printed routine, I do not know of this either. So, just what are you refering to? It would be nice to know that you what you are refering to. Many have copied most if not all of his invented tricks, so a reference would be nice or how you heard of this. Are you using correct information in the 1st place. |

He did produce a different method of multiplying balls. It did not use a shell or shells. It was quite creative. I think the gimmick itself could have been improved some, but it would certainly fool magicians who were not familiar with it. I enjoyed working with these very much.

I have a set in front of me (unused). I won them in a raffle at a flea market about 10-12 years ago. I opened them and put them in a cabinet until now. The instructions say they were first marketed in 1968, and that these are from about 1988. I remembered not being too impressed when I first examined them years ago. But now after reviewing them I will have to read through the instructions and give them a try.

I just got done trying them out. The appearance of the second ball is quite impressive. No finger movement. The ball just seems to appear. Also the vanish looks really good, no roll up move like the traditional gimmick. I do believe that this method would fool those who have not seen it. I will have to work up a routine and try it at the next club meeting.
