As a disclaimer, I would try to find the older version of the Barbed Wire Rings. I have the older model and saw the newer ones and they are nowhere near as nice.

A pillar type rope escape, I know we did a version of it when we did a pirate theme

Funny enough I have just been asked for a similar themed act, here is another idea for something smaller between the illusions I came up with. An egg bag themed perhaps as a miners gold bag that he stores his gold he has collected, so instead of an egg a fake gold nugget

You might want to talk to The Derringers (Michigan), since they do a western theme show. I know they have a web site out there somewhere, but I'm not sure of the URL.

When I think western I don't really think dukes and hazzard. I don't really think that the client will get it. Dukes of hazard is more of a 60s-80s dress more retro than country. Yes it took place in a country setting but not country dressing!
I would suggest you go to lammles or something like that and pick up the HICKIEST clothes there. Ultra plaid shirt jeans Huge belt buckle etc..... I think you could make yourself look better in a hicks outfit rather than a dukes of hazard one |

Try to think the way the client wants you do perform not stuck up how you would like to.

Do you have a web site ? Would love to see what type of background you have. It will make it a bit easier to accept your suggestions ! I'm not too sure how to take your last comment "Stuck up how you would like to" Just trying to get a feel here.....

Yeah Kline...take that!
What would you know about what YOUR client wants anyway????? Enough to GET the client in the first place I'm guessing. LOL For the record...Steve said a "Dukes" look as in "cut off shorts" instead of " Hee Haw overalls"..not a "Dukes" theme with Cletus and the gang of yokels. Best, Tim |
