Does anyone know about animal pressure points? I saw a man cause a goat to pass out by pushing a pressure point and then he pushed another one to make the goat regain consciousness. I am looking for any type of help with these types of things.....do you know of any books on the subject?

Certain breeds of goat will pass out and fall over merely from a loud sharp noise. There are robotic goats that look amazingly realistic. The guy was probably just pushing the on/off switch.
Okay, that was a joke. Seriously, some goats do just keel over at the sound of a backfiring truck (happens all the time on farms). I've also heard that chickens can be very easily hypnotized. Harley might have some more light to shed on this topic.

Frogs also. But it's not pressure points, as I understand it. It's usually been done as a pseudo-hypnosis thing. I've also heard of it being used as a bring-em-back-to-life thing.

Chicken: draw a straight line (about a foot). Hold the Chicken beak to the line.
Fainting Goats are Breed...do a google. Theyt drop like a rock when startled. Frogs can be laid out on their backs and stroked...some will some wont. Doves are the easiest to use this way...I had one that would stay 'out' till I touched it's toe. I did a whole Hypno routine with it that was pretty funny. I may have lost it in the 'puter crash...but if I can find it, I'll make it available again (freeby).

The Fainting goat thing is true, I had them when I was younger. It was fairly amusing every now and then to just get them to lock up and fall over. And they kept the lawn mowed fairly well too.

The fainting goat breed is called Tennessee Fainting Goat.
I saw a piece on the tube about them one time; very strange!

I found a guy who raises them near me and I'm seriously thinking about getting one.

Hey Doug,
What happens when you eak to the line? And I agree, I've also always gotten a kick out of watching people "hynotis" doves. Cheers, -Matt (TK) PS- I don't know why but I'm finding this thread to be particularly amusing |
