OK Newbie's!(YOUR TERM NOT MINE)
Here understand that even though you may have good intentions, there are a lot of people who don't. So when some people see a new member with questions as "HOW DO YOU?" "WHAT IS THE SECRET?". It will always bring up red flags. The reason for that is because this forum contains Millions of answers to almost any question that a new member or a seasoned veteran might have. Not just the new guys but most of us including myself need to understand the search system. A lot of time people just want a direct answer to there question and although it would be easier that way it is not right. So don't take it the wrong way. Some times we need to be defensive when certain questions arise. Now as far as making thing levitate from the Floor. I don't know methods for that but if you interested in ITR or IT work. Try Leclair animator, Ammar's ETMTM's among many others.

Fair enough and I appreciate what you are saying, and more specifically, how you're saying it. Firmer statements should be saved the personal email option. In general my preference is to keep the "airways" friendly and conducive to letting inexperienced folks find their way. I love and respect magic and its practitioners - but this isn't the Manhattan Project.
Anyhow, keep warm in Iceland.

One poster suggested taking time to go over the different topics/threads etc. That is an excellent Idea to learn how the Café works.
You will find some members more willing to help newcomers along than others. You will learn who they are. Being specific helps and staying away from "How Does it work" type of questions is a good idea. Sometimes the most innocent of questions or thoughts will be met with what seems like attacks and you will be surprised at the opinions you'll get regarding things that you never even asked about in your original post. on the other hand you will most times get some great ideas and suggestions from some very talented, creative people from all over the world. Have fun! Bobby |
