Spellbinder has been collecting inventors' indices and making them freely available for researchers and magic authors on-line at The Magic Nook. He recently added tricks and principles culled from Reginald Scot's "The Discoverie of Witchcraft," noting, where possible, other inventors that Scot attributed to certain effects. So if you want to know where your Magic Coloring Book came from, you can thank the man Scot called "Clarvis" according to Spellbinder's index.

You'll find the sources listed in the Magic Nook Inventors section under OTHER.

Spellbinder will also e-mail an Excel file version of any of his indices to serious students of magic, researchers, or magic authors who need to cite their sources.

Spellbinder's new index of the credits for the tricks in the Rice's Encyclopedia of Silk Tricks is ready too. It is a real contribution to the field of magic.

Thank you Spellbinder!
