Malinda's "Drill of Death"
One of the last living 10-in-one performers. I wanted to be in show business the worst way, and that was it.

I vivd recalled in Collectors Workshop there was a rising card which is over $10,000 maybe... not sure they still make it or not.
Most memorable moment - with Maestro Juan Tamariz & Consuelo Lorgia in FISM Busan 2018.

@ Steven - I believe the effect was called Nova, and it seemed quite a rising card indeed.

I want a turner watch as well, and maybe a CUPP lottery prediction?

I'd like to have the "Fluchtkiste" (Mini Substitution Trunk) by Wolfgang Grosskopf (the version that was presented in "Magisches Intermezzo" on June 27, 1980 by E. Boettcher)

CUPP lottery for me by far.

Great audience participation, relatable effect, inexplicable method and real memorable talking point if performed well.
Kind regards

I own 12 guitars, none cost me more that $500. It's not that I can't afford a $3000 guitar it's just that I've never picked one up, played it and said, Man, I've got to have this.

Same thing with magic stuff. The most expensive thing I own is an rdr. I used the heck out of it before the pandemic. Never really found anything I wanted that cost more than that.

Since then I bought the superchip which I can't wait to try out.

The Incredible Floating Pen. By Patrick Snowden. Hocus-Pocus had a mini show-room where guys could perform stuff for a small audience of mostly magicians back in the day. Patrick performed his floating pen at one of those. So cool. I bought one of the first from HP. I have it on display in my office. I placed it in a display case which normally would hold a souvenir signed football.

This is a fun thread to browse, just to see some of the pricier tricks out there that people are hankering after.

I have been lucky enough to own some amazing and expensive magic, many of which are mentioned in this thread. But like most people I have a number that I have not crossed. For me it appears to be about $5,000 because the one effect I have not had the nerve to purchase is Kerry Pollock's State of Mind - at $7,500 it is just too much.

That is a pretty effect. Maybe one day.
