Hey Christian,

You know I will be at Winter Carival performing The Rubik Cube Act on the Saturday Night Show. The Great Tomsoni and Company will be the closer that night. It should be a great convention. They have a AWESOME theater and I cannot wait to work that stage.

Your dancing cane act be a big hit in the junior stage contest. I will be cheering you on. I look forward to hanging out with you and your dad again.

Come check out the Winter Canrival of Magic

Christian,

I think a few of us from 355 might come down for the Saturday night show... just depends on how strong the line-up is...

I'm assuming since Gertner will be there some effort will be made to have a close-up show this year??? The Ruby Tuesday fiasco last year wasn't that great...

On another note, I'm sure you're not going to have any trouble taking home the trophy Smile

Mike,

WC is having a close-up show this year. It should be very strong with Paul Gertner, George Saterial, Johnny Thompson, & Chase Curtis. I'm exicted about seeing Chase's gold cups winning battery act. See you there!

Joe,

Long time no talk.

Where are they having the Close-up show? In one of the hotels? Or are they going to attempt to show it on the screens in the theater? I certainly hope it's not at Ruby Tuesday!

I wouldn't mind seeing Chase Curtis.

You coming to Twin City this year?

Well I'm sure the commotion that Music City Magic made to host our own close-up contest last year was a part of this year's decision...

Mike,

I'm not sure of all of the details. However, I think the close-up will take place at Country Tonight someplace. I may come to the Saturday night show to see my buddy Michael Lair. It all depends on my show schedule and where I'm at come June 10. I will be at Magi-Fest, performing at Winter Carnival, and SEAM.

The close-up show/contest will be on stage at the Country Tonite. We are setting up some ply wood and stuff or something to even it out we are hoping it works outs.

Dreid,

You should enter the contest too. One of my great thrills in my magic career was in 2004 when I won the Senior Stage Contest and my son (age 6) when the Jr. Stage Contest at the Winter Carnival of Magic. What a great moment to get to watch my son go up and recieve his 1st place award. Then, I got to go on stage with him to get my 1st place award too. He stills tells everyone that he beat me in the contest because he got his award first. lol You should also complete and maybe both father and son can win together again. Please make sure that you look me up at Winter Carnival.
