This was absolutely dreadful in every aspect,I couldn't believe my eyes when he took out the shim, then gave an instructional demo on how to use it.It seemed that even the host of the show was vaguely appalled and tried to cover up for him by saying that it must take a long time to master, but I don't think he even got a response.

As usual you seem to be picking a fight with me. I have never done it it full view, and I have never disagreed with you on that. Not once, you never took heat from me on it. Pick a fight elseware buddy. I thought we were getting on again. Seems I was wrong.

I think its kinda a moot point regarding police officers safety, you can buy $1.99 instructional on picking cuffs on the internet people who want to learn it will find out
Most adults also know that EA's use sh**m**g and picking, I belive the suspense is in doing it under pressure and " having" to avoid the peril. |

Fact, I have always said, doing the picking in full view is a bad idea. Fact, several people in here took me to task for it, and still do. Yet, here we are getting upset over ONE person doing it that way. Bigelow did it EXACTLY that way on national TV when he did his door of death on the Bill Bixby magic special. So, again, a person can not eat their cake and have it too. If full view is fine, then so is what just happened. BOTH expose the methods. As to the rest, I spend no time on fatuous comment. I have better things to do. |

You can shim visualy without exposeing just the same as you can escape the Steve Baker belt without exposeing.
Visual demonstrations / escapes are great, but to teach with exposure in mind is too blatent, to take cash for method at the expense of other`s living is deplorable. Always there will be those who sell anything for 30 pieces of silver. Honour among thieves ! Or honour among entertainers,,,,take your pick. Ken |

It seems to me that you are looking for a fight, which you so often do. You have a politicians way about you. Provoking a reaction, then trying to turn it around on the other person. Quote:

Personally, I don't agree with doing it in full view BUT the complaint is about it being taught, fully, and with detail on TV. Quote:

I have, since you started posting here, respected much of what you have to say, I have read your essays with interest, and taken a lot from them. But their is a side of you which seems bitter and derisive, and intent on spoiling for fights now and then.

I'd wish you happy birthday too, except you're not old enough to have one. Merry Christmas!
