Any unique or cool ways to force this number? I know most of the Gardner/Busch methods I think. Any hidden gems lurking out there?
Thanks
Dave

Think of an odd number between 2 and 4...
the cool thing is that it is (nearly) 100%

Be sure you say the odd part. If you leave that off, I pick pi. But then again, I am a math geek.

"Think of a number from 1 to 4."
Obviously you are saying 'number from 1 2 4' - so hopefully the spectator will say the missing number '3'.

I just watched Banachek do a great, non-math-based one. Word for word:

"There are one, two, three, four columns... one, two, three, four columns,,, one, two, three, four columns... would you name one of those numbers please?"

Right out of Psychological Subtleties.
Every problem contains the seeds of its own solution. Unfortunately every problem also contains the seeds of an infinite number of non-solutions, so that first part really isn't super helpful.

What is your "out"?....Maybe "and what is left"? option......
