As you're winding down, I thought I'd ask if there were any improvements you'd like to make to your publishing process or results. Great books take time to write, but are there obstacles you face that you think shouldn't be there?

Hi, Curt. Well, I'd like them to get done faster, but it's still a very handmade process we use to get the books the way we want them. The ideal would be to have an in-house staff of photo retouchers, text editors, and layout people to aid me. But for now, I have a fairly efficient system that takes years off production time and lets us produce something beautiful.
