Hello to you all!
Since some few of you know that I am a professional maker of gaffed and gimmicked cards I choose this way here to ask for a little help. Amongst my product range there is a magnetic card - sold directly by me, some German dealers and exclusively The Magic Warehouse in the USA. So it could be possible that some of you already own such a magnetic card; branded "CardMaker". Now I thought of making this card even better: Thinner!!! but as strong as before. Any possible bending of the card will be avoided too. But before I start making these new cards in 100's, I would like to hear our opinion regarding the magnets involved..... Nowadays there are two magnets in the card - 1 under each angel of a riderback card. That is my standard magnetic card. The ones I make custom for some people mostly have only 1 magnet in the center, due to my customers wishes. So the new 2006 magnetic card .... should it have 2 magnets or 1 magnet built in? To avoid misconception: the magnet(s) itself won't change; these are the thinnest available, believe me. It is just the positioning and the amount of magnets where I would like to read your opinions. Thank you for your suggestions .... and possibly explaining why. If this post belongs to an other section, please move, but do not Remove ;-)

Hi Cardmaker,
What size magnets are you using i.e. diameter or length x Width. I would be interested in about half the card being magnetic. Regards Mike

In my view, the important consideration is not the "number" of magnets but the magnetic force, and the particular force that's needed might depend on the particular effect for which the card will be used.

Update:
I now got new magnets, which are made just for my cards, thin and strong. Only 1 will be used, centered. Soon available ... thru The Magic Warehouse (exlusively US) or direct (me).
