I have never seen one of these in person. I know Mikame has a good reputation but I still would like a genune Café opinion before spending the money. Any thoughts?

Maybe some people find it super. I don't.

I own one.
I like it and mine has worked well in over 200 performances to date...well there was that one time ...but seriously. It works like it is supposed to and looks like a silver wine glass.
I use it for my own chop cup routine and the best thing about it is that you can show both hands empty ...the cup empty and then produce a ball from seemingly no where. Yes you can also do that with sleight of hand but the cup makes it so clean with little effort.

What did you dislike about it Bill? The load size is a little on the smaller size at least for my tastes but it still works for me. Searching for final loads is becoming a new hobby for me.

The load size was one thing. The gaff was not as dependable for me as I would like it to be. An occasional wait can really put a routine off. I would rather have a fixed gaff.

Hmmm. maybe one of the dealers at WMS will have one to show. Doesn't sound like it has a place of honor in the C&B Museum!

There is one in the C&B museum, but I haven't given it any special recommendations. The concept is clever.

Thanks guys! If they were under $50.00 I wouldn't mind taking a chance but $125.00 was the best price I saw. Anything over $100.00 I want to be happy with! Still would like to see one in person at WMS.

I bought one of these used at a magic swap meet a few years ago. It had never been used, was pristine and still in the box. It cost me a whopping $10.00.

I’ve used it fairly regularly for gigs at formal gatherings that require some upscale looking props. The gimmick in mine seemed to work as fast as the routine required with no long pauses or waits. I even used the coin holdout lip built into the bottom of the goblet to hold a stack of three palming coins for the first steal of a simple misers dream routine.
