Since you are trying to work out a "routine", I would tell you to look here: http://www.gamblingcollectibles.com
I am neither a dice mechanic, nor a magician so I don't know if this is what you want or not. I just know that they sell some gaffed dice here. |

Well, for the record, I never said the stuff was "good." I only said that it was "there."
Of course, I am not saying that it's "not good" either.... CC |

I have purchased some things from gamblingcollectibles.com, including some juice dice. They are extremely well made. The guy that makes dice for them is as good as anyone in the world. You will pay dearly for the quality. And frankly, for a chop cup routine, the quality may be a whole lot more than you need. Expect to spend $300 bucks or more for well made juice dice.
Typically, juice dice are designed to roll specific combos under specific conditions and require extremely powerful magnets to control them. If you are just looking for a die that will stick to the top of a chop cup, they may be able to help you, but make sure to specify exactly what you want the dice to do. You may just want to get some non-transparent drugstore dice and experiment with gaffing them yourself. Vandy

Thank you gentlemen. While gambling collectibles is a great resource, I do think a couple hundred dollars is a bit steep for a Die that doesn't need to do much more than stick to the inside bottom of a cup. I want to use casino "perfects" and not drug store dice, so I think shimming or chopping it myself my be beyond of my technical ability.
Slim, you seem to be singled out as an expert. Any "expert" advice?

Frankly, I don't know of shimmed or chopped dice. I have made the most exotic dice in the business but those terms are new to me...

Hey Slim this is Doc
I just want to know did you find that manuscript that you wrote years ago? People such as myself need that you know; we need your help. You know that the people who have your knowledge about this particular area is very rare. Would you be so kind as to please let the elect possess this knowledge before it become lost in time. Thanks in advance for taking the time out to read this. Your Wanna Be Student Signed, The Doctor |

Slim-
Well, I probably because I am using the wrong term—a conjuring term, opposed to a Gambling term. I need a die like a like magnetic or juiced die, as it needs to be attracted to a magnet. It just doesn't need to pull to any particular direction or side. thoughts?

Any information I might have is kind of obsolete and often requires "touch" for shaping dice and very expensive specific tooling for most other work...
BTW, I do know a few magic terms, I've been a working magician since 1949. Slim
