Hi Tom,
thanks for sending on the clip. I think that this was a lovely move. The fact that its done before reaching the other hand is very deceiving as obviously this is when most shifts occur. Keep up the great work Tom, I look forward to more! |

Mr. Wolf I remember seeing this shift at The Carew Tower Magic Shop a few years ago. I remember you showing us a number of shifts that day and this one particularly stood out. I had described the essence of the move to a few people since and now feel a bit vindicated that I actually remembered what I saw! Thanks for a great tabled shift.

The write up in Genii made me think that making the shift invisible was impossible.
The video that Tom graciously sent me made me think again. Thinking out loud here, but I'm wondering if you could beat the leaf by offsetting it or holding it back during the action. Thank you Tom for releasing this move to the fraternity.
One time, when I was young, I botched a sleight so bad, Vernon, Marlo & Miller rolled over in their graves. But I didn't see Elmsley, probably because he was behind the others.

Thanks for sharing Tom,
It's wonderful to see someone with so much talent in their hands, as well as an obvious deep knowledge of magic, that is so willing to share with us. Your work has a visual element that is refreshing while retaining what I would define as "old school knowledge." Obviously you have a keen insight as to making your magic strikingly visual without sacrificing the experience by being a "flourish king." There is nothing more exciting in magic (to me personally) than getting the opportunity to peek into the mind of magicians like yourself that have been around for years and that have gained your experience. Judging from the limited amount of work that I have had the privilege to have seen from you thus far, I have the same anxious anticipation that I did while awaiting the second Harry Riser book to surface. The type books that have so many years of careful thinking that you just can't put them down. Thanks for giving me something to look forward to concerning your work that you will be releasing. Looks like we may have just been lucky enough to have found one of magic's "hidden treasures" in you and your work. Here's to another name to add to the list of thinkers to look out for.
Best, Clark

There will be some pictures added the early part of next week. Tom Wolf

I visited Tom's website. He has some excellent effects there. I like his coins effect. The sandwich effect killed me. Great stuff.

There are some moves that will be talked about from the site for awhile. They are completely new ways to control small packets of cards. If you study the upcoming video demos, you will see what I am taking about. I also will be adding some that have a move or two from other magicians in a routine that adds my sleights. By this I mean, double turn over, etc. All the rest is original. I have received an abundance of messages and phone calls asking me when the project will be done. The answer is as so as possible. I want to teach the moves so that you can all learn them is the easiest way. Over the heads shots, etc. Tom Wolf
