^ How about a DVD through someone like, say, http://www.mymagic.com (although there a many others)? If you check out the web site you'll see they do a special page for each artist's DVD along with demo clips.

I just watched the video that Tom Wolf sent me of Tom Wolf's Blink shift and it is the best table shift that I have seen to this date. Quite an amazing move and idea and very useful for magic.

Congratulations Tom Wolf

On a great move and I am going to run out and get a copy of Genii magazine just to learn it.

Thanks again

Thank you Glenn for the kind comments.

I just sent you an email with a message that should be shared with all that read the Genii article with the Blink Shift.

There was a serious error made that David is going to correct.

He stated "pick up the bottom portion from above in Biddle Grip".

This is Wrong.. You should pick it up in Straddle Grip. This grip is shown on figure 4.

This is Most important because it enables you to do the speed that is necessary for this move to be done invisibly.

Using the same grip, you can do the Blink Shift on the table is two different grips.

I have received numerous messages asking my why I called it the Blink Shift.

The reason is if you "blink" you will miss it. lol.

Best to you all, there is more to come.

Opay,

Glad that you enjoy.

Study the grip and you will find out that you can do the move one the table in two different grip as a table restoration.

There is Much more to come.

Regarding the above statement, anyone who has the time would you please send me a video of this blink pass to Houdini149@yahoo.com Why? I once had my Inifinity Pass video taped for the Genii Magazine sometime ago using my Straddle Grip but I didn't want them to publish it because the writer couldn't do my pass besides that fact that he wanted to explain it and couldn't do the move. This would have made me look bad (Doc's moves never look bad) so I bowed out.

It's a shame how magicians who can't do a move want so much publicity that they would describe something wrong just to get their name in that magazine.

Again I sure hope it's not my move.

Thanks in advance.

I (think) I've seen a video of your Infinity Pass, and if it was, it looks nothing like this move. As said before, this is a one handed move, done from picking the cards up off of the table.

:)

Slow down.

This is my move and it was originally published by my old friend Neil Foster in the New Top magic magazine, year 1975.

The reason we are doing it over, is I wanted to teach the proper way to do it and release the rest of my original sleights.

Ok, I've watched clips of Tom's "Blink Shift", "Blink Shift Color Change", "Impossible Sandwich", as well as his great coins between cards routine.

And I've watched 'em again, and again, and again, and...

WOW!
Mickey Silver was not exaggerating with his praise.
Now, if the good Mr. Canaday is able to assist Tom in getting the instructional material posted securely, I'm buying. (Are you planning on selling downloads, or hard copy on disc?)

His (Tom's) "Impossible Sandwich" looks great, and practical too, very nice indeed.

What else have you got (not) hidden up your sleeves?

Thanks, Tom!

Tom Wolf has a lot of great moves and ideas for magic. He has sent me a video showing a great color change and also a sandwich effect that makes a great sandwich card to wallet effect or card to envelope.

Amazing stuff and I hope Tom Wolf puts it out on a DVD along with his Blink Shift.

Hey Tom..have you ever did the blink shift as like a normal stand up control...like spectator selects a card you swing cut...have them replace then preform the shift as your about to place the packets together?

Yes and many other variations.

It has been 48 years since I created it.

It can be done on the table.
Three way cuts, etc. Many uses.
