Finally, I got my hands on this coin box. This is a very unique box, not like any coin box you see. There is no need for any turn over move as used in a Okito box.
The box itself is a beauty and the gimmick which is well conceive can be casually examined. An ungimmicked box is also included. The lid for the box can also be use for the vanish of a coin. There are lots of ways to use the box and is only limited to your imaginations. Now for the cons, The box size is too small for a Half-dollar coin and too big for a quarter. I guess the size is meant for a Japanese coin. However, I think a Mexican Centavo might work though I haven't tried it. The instructions that came with it was not very clear. I have to read it a few times before I get it right. The routines provided are very basic ideas though I'm sure a coin worker can come up with other routines. Overall, I like this box very much (I like all coin boxes ). Recommended for coin box lovers.

Hi. Can you please tell me if this is the silver and black Mikame coin box that comes with both a gimmicked and an ungimicked box? I am also wondering if it comes with written English Instructions and if there are any video tutorials available for it? Thanks for any help you can provide.

I have just received the Mikame Coin Box and it is well made and I also like the gimmicked method. Mine comes with both English and Japanese instructions.

Hi DavidK. Can you please tell me if the Mikame Coin Box was purchased on a site recently and if so where? I would be interested in purchasing one if possible. Thank you.

I recently obtained the Mikame Coin Box via an auction from Magic Collectibles an on-line magic site located in the USA.
It is brand new with original box and instructions (English and Japanese). I think this was a one off. |
