Wow! Sounds like a great Covention. Wish I could have been part of it. I always have a great time at SEAM. I have won the Hal Matin Throphy 3 times only person in history and have won the close-up. I would love to be part of it next year. You never know someone might drop out this year and if so give me a call.

Yes, James, he did! Thank you for the recognition. As his father, my wife and I are proud as we can be.

We look forward to coming down there in August. Last year, that was one of the best conventions I had ever attended. I was glad to see Rick Ruhl this year at the Winter Carnival of Magic.

See you in August!!

This line up keeps getting better. By the time the ad in Linking Ring hits, I hope there is room left.

Until June the registration is only $75.00 and includes a free registration for the spouse or a junior. The hotel is the Hilton (1-800-HILTONS) in Perimeter Park in Birmingham and too close to great shopping and restaurants for the spouses and families. Interstate access is a piece of cake.

Congratulations to Christain for his win at Winter Carnival of Magic! I hope he still speaks kindly to old guys like me. We look forward to seeing him SEAM 2006. He and Dakota will make it tough on the old folks. There is also Justin David among the younger guys. They are coming from all over place. SEAM's not just for grits anymore!

James,

Joseph is a good friend of mine, and you are right, he has a unique act that is really spectacular. He opened the Saturday night show last weekend in Pigeon Forge, and what a great choice. High energy, colorful, visual, and fun! SEAM 2006 is really shaping up to be a great convention.

Hi everyone,

A big congratulations to Christian. I can't wait to work with you backstage. There are so many people I am really looking forward to meeting at this convention. I wish it were closer than August.

Mr. Sanders, I have to tell on Mr. Adamson. He sent me a PM and did you know that he calls you "Poppa Sanders". I hope I didn't get you in trouble Mr. Adamson. LOL

Well, talk to everyone later.

Be aware that Joseph Young's unique Rubik Cube act video is around 56 MEG so it will need a high speed connection to view it.

Hey JustinDavid,

I just saw your website. Really cool. We are on dial up so I couldn't watch the video.

I keep seeing your posts under Polly wants a Cracker. I take it you do dove magic, too. I'm looking forward to meeting you and working with you. SEAM is going to be a great time.

Talk to you later,

Dakota Rose

Hello magicians!

SEAM 2006 is getting bigger and better by the minute! We have just booked Justin Miller, who was such a big hit at the Columbus Magi-Fest. If you missed him there, come see him at SEAM 2006! That makes 14 acts that we have booked, with much new, fresh and cutting edge talent!!

We have expanded this year to 2 1/2 days, with the first event beginning at 3:00 pm on Thursday August 3rd. We have 7 Lecture/Workshop/Seminars, covering everything including, innovative close-up, stand-up, kids' magic, ropes, crooked carnival games & cons, magic collecting, and a few things even I don't know about yet! We are even working on adding a separate private workshop for Sunday morning.

We have six dealers, a dealer's show, and contests for stage (adult and youth) and close-up. There are two big stage shows, and one close-up show. We are having a late night open mic session after the Thursday evening lecture, and several raffles, including a couple of pristene vintage John Calvert Magic Sets! There are also a couple of surprises that we have not announced!

The Hilton Perimeter Park Hotel is located in one of Birmingham's best areas for restaurants and shopping, with very easy interstate access. Birmingham has many area attractions, so this is a great convention to bring your family to... even if they don't want to see all the magic! The Birmingham Convention & Vistor's Bureau is working closely with us to supply information to all the registrants about all that Birmingham has to offer!

We are an easy drive for anyone in Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, and of course, Alabama!

You'll find great incentive packages for early registration! Register early (by June 1st) and you will get the lowest rate of $75.00, PLUS, you will get FREE REGISTRATION for your spouse or one youth!! These combined perks will give you a savings of $60.00!! That's huge!! Plus you get free chances in the drawings for the John Calvert Magic Sets.

The registrations are already starting to pour in. You'll want to get in early for the best deal!

Check the website, http://www.seam2006.com for more information, hotel contacts and rates, downloadable registration forms, and contest rules & entry forms.

See you in August!

James!

I know that Rubik Cube Demo is 56k. I have someone working on trying to make it work better using flash. Come to SEAM 2006 and see the act in person. It is going to be a FUN time. Cannot wait !
