I just love the 'manic clown'. I think that clows are creepy in any case.
I remember someone saying to me, you see a clown in a circus - okay. A clown turns up at your door at midnight - weird. Keith Hart

I saw Harry Anderson do a truly bizarre Elephant Man vent routine last summer shortly before Katrina hit his place in New Orleans. Great routine!

Thanks for sharing this site, Doug. It's fantastic! Looks like fantastic workmanship. Is there a place that discusses the controls (brass rods vs. strings) for the vent figures?
Thanks. |

"Heeey Sport"...Anyone remember the episode of the Twilight Zone, where the doll switches places with the vent?

Speaking of film, we all remember the movie "magic" with anthony hopkins....lots of ideas there...the slow degrading of the performers sanity, and the "possessing" aspect of the figure....as soon as I looked at Dan's figures that's what came to mind. I personally like the one that looks psuedo normal, but as you look at the eyes it gets creepier and creepier....it's the subtelties..
