As founder and manager of our little online community, it is both a thrill and a honor to have both Tim Ellis and Sue-Anne Webster as our very special GUEST OF HONORS this month. Having two entertainers at the same time is a Café first and I am looking forward to all the great discussions that will no doubt take place. Thanks for joining us! Smile

Thanks Steve!

I hope the server holds out... is it true that any moment we could be switching to a new server in here? We may have to stay a few extra days! *g*

Well I hope the new server will wait until this week of great australian treat is over, otherwise you leave me no choice but to open up a little can of "Whoopass".

Unbelievable!!! Philipp you impress me with your knowledge of Ellis & Webster trivia. Here's a test for you. What did we see standing outside Haine's House of Cards that day?

I don't have the DVD anymore but wasn't it a gigantic cow ? I'm honestly guessing right now.

Tim congratulations on being nominated by 'Academy of Magical Arts and Sciences' for the 'Lecture of the Year' at the Magic Castle. I wish I was a member of the Academy of Magical Arts so I could have put in a vote for you. All the best to you Tim Ellis I do hope you win.

Magically,

Thanks Maro! I wish you were a member too! Smile We are absolutely thrilled to be nominated and they even put two tickets aside for us at the banquet in Los Angeles on April 1... (I hope it's not a joke...Smile ) Unfortunately we have a show here in Melbourne on April 1 that may involve making a Formula 1 car appear on stage... but if the gig falls through we'll be on a plane over to the banquet asap! It's always been a secret dream of mine to attend one of The Academy's award nights.

Thanks for the welcome Bob! I hope my answers don't get too rambly... I do tend to get keyboard diarrhea sometimes...

Thankyou. It's a new experience for me.

I normally see Tim ensconsed in this forum and leave him to it. But, this time I'm REALLY having a ball kicking him of the computer and taking over for a chat.

Welcome Sue-Anne and Tim,

I have seen Tim around the forum and it's great to see you here Sue-Anne. Just pull up a comfortable chair, grab yourself a refreshment and be prepared for lots of conversations this coming week. It's a pleasure to have you as guests of honor. Looking forward to reading all the post and thanks for agreeing to do this.

Philipp, you are absolutely right! As we arrived at Haines House of Cards we saw a giant cow standing in a trailer.

You should have seen the stuff we saw on tour when we DIDN'T have our camera out!

That's what I love about road trips, surprise after surprise.

Maybe this could be a column in a magazine: "Stories from the road. The bizzare side of a professional's lecture tour."

I'd like to see that... (really)

You two are my favorite magicians in the world. Some are magical, some are funny, some are theatrical. You're all three.

I regret missing your lecture when you came to town. "Everyone" told me that you gave the best lecture they'd ever seen.

Thanks for sharing your time with us!
Humans make life so interesting. Do you know that in a universe so full of wonders, they have managed to create boredom. Quite astonishing.

Thanks Bill! That's high praise indeed and we are both glowing red with a weird mix of embarrassment and pride Smile

Mark, good to see you. I hope you'll use you referee skills in here for good... not evil!

Thanks Jonathan!

This is taking a lot more time that we expected, but it's also a lot more fun than we expected too!
