My kid is into action figures. He puts them together and makes comics out of them which he posts on deviantart. (Look for dragonrider, I don't have the address right here!)
He bought a Houdini action figure for me because he knows I like magician figures (He also bought me an old-style wizard who we all claim looks like Hagred would if he'd actually managed to graduate from Hogwarts!) The card looks like one of Houdini's posters with "The World's Handcuff Kin & Prison Breaker" and "HOUDINI Action Figure" done in Houdini's style and drawings of hands in handcuffs on either side of the figure itself. Houdini is in the center in handcuffs (with one cuff off the wrist, nice touch) and leg irons. There's a chair, rope and a strait-jacket. (I dispair of anyone ever getting that word right, it's described as a "straight" jacket in two places on the copy!) All in all, it's pretty nice. It's by a company called Accoutrements. http://www.accoutrements.com Here's a link directly to the action figure; http://www.accoutrements.com/products/11498.html

Gotta' admit, there's not much action in that figure!
Cheers!

I heard the Houdini action figure comes in nice comic shop type packaging. But once you get it home and leave it overnight, he escapes his hermetic seal.

Is it true the Dai Vernon action figure once fooled the Houdini action figure?

Remember I mentioned my kid likes to make comics out of action figures?
www.dragonrider1228@deviantart.com See what he's got posted. Nothing magical though, I warn you on the outset.

I messed up that last post. The link will send him e-mail, not connect you to his site!
I'll have to look it up and get back to you. Sorry!
