I'd like to preface this by saying, this is still not an ideal scenario for me...yet. So if anyone has a better idea of how to accomplish this, please enlighten me.
Anyway this is a Power Point slide show I created a few years ago. It's a simple card trick with a lot of bells and whistles, and it's never let me down or failed to completely amaze my spectators. It can work with you either forcing a card prior to viewing the slide show, or you can let the slide show walk the spectator through the force. (It uses the Balducci Cut Deeper Force) The slide show is set up to act (in a tounge and cheeck fashion) like a new computer program (Computer Activated Recognition Device C.A.R.D.) which is capable of somehow reading the spectators mind. It asks the spectator various questions, and they click a yes or no button in the bottom of the screen to advance through the sequence. So, it's completely self working. The slide show does reqest the spec. to place their finger on a scanning pad during one point. They always do, and it's just great fun to watch the person sticking their finger on the screen! Anyway, I've always wanted to be able to share this with people to use, and I've never found a source yet. Ideally, I'd like people to be able to view the slide show before deciding if they want to download it. But, like I said, at this point this is the best venue I can find. So if you're interested here's the link, it will take you to the website where you can download the file. I'd love to hear some feedback if anyone is actually willing to download the file and check it out. I hope it serves you well and you have some fun with it. CARDv3.pps |

Wow...no takers, huh. This is much better than the lame versions of the Princess Card Trick that were all over the web, I promise.

Not bad! And you're right, it's not quite as lame as the Princess Card thing.
If I may, I'd like to try and put it in a web friendly format. If I succeed, do I have your permission to post it on my site?

You won't find it by name. Scroll halfway down and click on the "Download" button.

No, I don't mind at all. That's ideally what I'd like to see happen. My hopes were I could find a venue where it could be viewed, and then people who were interested could download a copy for themselves to use. As long as you credit me, that's all I'd ask. I've been wanting to look into seeing if it could be converted to Flash somehow.

Pretty neat. I'll have to try that out on somebody later! Thanks

Okay, here is a video of the slide show in action so to speak. The video quality isn't that hot, but it's enough to give you an idea of what the slide show looks like, and hopefully, appreciate it's potential as a fun little computer trick.
You can't see the Yes/No buttons very well, but this is intended to be an interactive slide show. The version here does not show the Balducci Cut Deeper force simply becuase length of video=file size. But you can see enough of the video to get the basic idea. If you like the video, you can download the file at the link posted at the beginning of this thread. Enjoy! http://media.putfile.com/CARD_v3 |

Is it the same card all the time? Because the one on the video's different from what I saw on my slideshow.

If you have PowerPoint, you can change the card which us nice as you can show it again to someone who has seen it on a previous ocassion.
