Hi Tim, as discussed I have uploaded Run Around Sue to YouTube and am now doing the Jeanie vid.

It may be easier to have them on the same page, or I may be linking to them on my blog as blatant self promotion Smile

So here it is folks, the famous (infamous?) Run Around routine, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I picture a world of love and peace, a world without war where people live together in harmony.
I also picture us attacking that world 'cause they just wouldn't expect it

Well done Brendan! Looks like you beat Ben Whimpey to it!

Well, if you haven't seen 'Runaround Sue' before, here's your chance!

Tim,

Please allow me to be one of the firsts to tell you how awesome I think Run Around Sue is... I love the routine and the explaination of it as well!

I'm curious though... Why don't you use fake strawberries with the routine instead of the squash balls?

Bryan, I must confess that's not the first time I've been asked that question.

I did consider fake strawberries at one point, actually I have a whole drawer full of different things I rejected, but for some reason the audience just didn't relate well to them. Maybe it was something simple like they didn't like seeing fruit handled like that? Maybe it was suspicious because it obviously wasn't a real strawberry? Maybe the audience could accept the ball as representing "Sue", but a strawberry was just a strawberry? Who knows.

I guess the answer is I settled on a red squash ball through trial and error.

Though I'd love to hear from someone who has used a strawberry in a trick - what was the reaction like?
