Inspired by Nir's recent post...

I misread the question and tried to solve a different one, don't know whether my answer was right or wrong as I don't know much about permutations (or probability!)
So... to check my answer here's the question:

Coupons in cereal boxes are numbered 1 to 5, and a set of one of each is required for a prize. with one coupon per box, what is the easiest way to calculate the probability that someone buying just 5 boxes, will get the prize?

1 in 5!/5^5.

That is to say: 5/5*4/5*3/5*2/5*1/5, or 24/625.

Guess they forgot to tell Bill Buckley.

Ummmmm...same thing. Ignore 5/5; it doesn't change anything. Multiply the numerators: 4x3x2x1 = 24. Multiply the demoninators: 5x5x5x5 = 625.
