Where can I find this fanning deck? It was sold by Supreme Magic many years ago.
I like the design very much and would like to know whether any magic shop still sells this particular design or anyone having this deck willing to sell it off. I would like to buy a few decks. Click here to view attached image. |

James,
I have seen something like it! Maybe they were Tannens, or Abbotts? The Rabbit calls to me. I know I have seen it before? |

The Abbotts deck look similar and I don't think Tannens has it.
This particular deck is air-cushioned and the colorful design is my preference as it looks bright, colorful and visible from a distance. Air cushioned deck when applied with fanning powder is good for fanning manipulation. I'm looking for this design because mine is already wearing out and need replacements. |

This is the Deck the International Unique Magic Studio in London put out in the 1980's, as well Supreme Magic Sold them before they went out of business. The Rabbit in the center is Unique Magic Studio's logo. I do not think Unique Studio carries them any longer but you can email them to make sure. This is the same store Harry Stanley started, and Ron McMillian continured. I believe his son operates the store now.
Abbott's Magic has made a similiar deck designed by Mike (Gordon) Miller, before he retired. It is a very close match and the last cards I purchased had the linen type finish with the Abbott's logo in the center. Email them for availablity and price. |

Dear James:
Wmhegbli’s information is correct. But, I would like to add that a similar deck was produced by the “Intercol” A1 playing card company. This deck which was called “Magicians Professional Fanning Cards” was so similar that one could called it a knock-off of the Harry Stanley deck. Unfortunately the Intercol cards didn’t have the fine linen finish of the original “International Magic Studio” deck. If you are looking for a replacement deck I suggest you look at eBay. Every once in a while a deck shows up on auction. Best regards, Levent

Dear James:
Also, I forgot to tell you that the “International Magic Studio” produced the cards in two different styled faces. One kind had the European style indexes on all four corners and the other had the indexes on two corners. I mention this in case you make the faces turn blank during your routine by means of a reverse fan. Otherwise it doesn’t matter what kind of deck you procure. Best regards, Levent

Thanks Levent and Wmhegbli for the valuable info.
I just went to their website and did a search - they do not even carry a fanning deck now. Any way to make sure, I sent them an email. Waiting for their reply now. Are there any other places I can get hold of good quality fanning decks? |

I am hoping that a few people in this forum actually have the International Magic Studio design fanning deck ... and also hoping that you are willing to sell them to me.
I need a few decks of this design and of course I am also interested in other designs too. |

James, I too tried to get this particular fanning deck from International, but they no longer do it.
The only way to get these decks now would, I think, be if anyone has got one they no longer want. I bought my original decks years ago from Harry Stanleys Unique studio. Good luck in your endeavours. Best of, Dave

I don't want to get your hopes up, but I think I have one of these somewhere. I also have some of the Po-Do cards that Cardini used, if you are interested. I have two decks of those, one gold, one silver.

James Tong, I have 4 of these decks and the Lewis Ganson glued together decks for the Jumbo Fans made the easy way. I am with Dave Andrews, these are very good cards and I was planning to use them myself.
