John,
Just hide the 'you can't use my idea' part in the fine print. In fact, I suggest starting the document with normal size print, and having it reduce in size as you go down the page until it's completely illegible. There are lots of places on the net where you could download a bunch of 'legalize' to load it up with. Have fun!

Here's one you can use. It just has some boilerplate text taken off a 'free use' site on the Web. I managed to squeeze it onto one page.

Indeed that is a great idea!
Great comedy and they can't get out of it! It defuses any nastiness or awkward situation and by the time the person has read even the first few lines and realised that he has been had, you are halfway into you next trick. Nice one.

If the non-disclosure doesn't work, just bring out one of Higley's shrunken heads and tell them that's the LAST person who asked you to tell them how a trick was done.

Don't use gimmicks and you wont have to worry about handing your stuff out for examination. Start with ungimmicked effects offering them to examine before hand if they want. With my card in pocket routine the spectator handles the cards nearly the whole time, so this takes heat off of the deck if I do decide to use a gimmick deck or cards.
