Have heard lots on here about Black Art. Could someone tell me roughly what this is ?

I'm not sure it's the same thing, but I do know a relatively easy effect known as Black Magic. A spectator has 15 different items lined up in front of them. She silently notes one of them and then calls out each object. The magician then tells the spectator what her item was.

It is magic that uses the principle that a black object can't be seen against a black background.

The term is also applied to colors other than black against the same colored background.

Go to dealer sites and do a search for black art.
You have to give it away to keep it.

BA = black against black can't be seen, allows for magnifficent things when staged properly. Personally, I use an appearance that uses travelling BA. However, BA is not simple to pull off and it needs proper lighting and staging.

Check Darwin´s Inexpensive Illusions for some neat simple ideas.
