If someone asks, how you do that, here is what you can say.

Well I sign so many statements, made so many pledges, and I have to follow so many codes, well if I told you, then I would have to kill you.

You mean, you don't know how it is done, I told so many times, I get sick of hearing myself explain it.

Can you keep a secret, Can you keep a secret, well so can I.

What are you 60 minutes.

I really don't know either, it just does itself.

What are your ideas.

I say, sure I'll tell you how it's done, by altering the perceptual value and changing the ordinary parameters that are anticipated by an average participant in such displays of unordinary and sometimes erroseously called paranormal abilities the person who has previously aquired such knowledge will have the advantageous position of leading and the observer who wil not have been able to assimilate all the information provided and is at a disadvantage considering that two things are occuring: The information is frequently obscured and he does not know what information is pertinent.

I don't know any other way to say it.

I tell them I can't divulge the methods because these are the tools I use to make my living with (it's true). They seem to understand and never ask about it again.

For a mental act,if they ask :"How did you do it?" I guess you failed

because you just told them how it was done:You can read mind!!

For my any card at any number-I just tell them that it's not me-it's them.

I have a commerical presentation for professor's nightmare and I kind of 'explain' the method during the effect-for example:

I did a show for a credit card company and told them that there are rich people, poor people and normal people but the credit card company make them all to spend the same amount of money every month.

Have fun

"How do you do that trick?"

"There's a TRICK to it?" -blank look "so I've been doing it wrong all these years."

I really don't have too much trouble with this.

People just don't ask. I will say I spend more time entertaining them and by the time they are done watching they have had so much fun, "how" isn't really foremost in their mind.

I get asked how long I have been doing it, and where I learned and such, but not really a lot of "how did you do that?".

People don't ask me How. They ask me Why?

Why do you do this? and why do you humiliate yourself like this? and why are you still single?

They never ask me How.

I say "How do you think I did it", regardless of what they say I wink and say don't tell anyone. It lets them feel good that they figured it out and gets me off the hook as the bad guy magician who wouldn't tell.

And when they don't relent, always keep this in your minds:

"No matter how much a mystery you propose;
there are still those
who love to trample the flowers
just to see how they grow."
