Hello,
I am looking for the method for the spirit cabinet rope tie as performed by David Copperfield in his Barclay House illusion. Do you know where I can find the method (books or video) ? Even methods that are almost the same. Thanks a lot. Ben

You can check out The Falkenstein and Willard “Gypsy Tie” is seen on one of their DVD/tapes. They use it in a nice abbreviated spirit cabinet routine.
Then there is the even older Gysel spirit tie (as used by John Calvert) is even easier to apply and to work (it’s found in your old Tarbell volume six 309). And you could try the search function. This has been discussed a number of times here at the Café. For example you will find: http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......;forum=7 http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......forum=17 http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......forum=18 http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......forum=18 http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......forum=18 are just a few of the discussions. The search is half the fun.
