I've been considering adding topits to my repertoire. However, I rarely if ever use suits/tuxedoes in my normal performing environment(school). I do however, wear a few different lined eisenhower jackets, I believe they're called. Is that fact that they're waist length a problem for a topit?

I can see that being a problem for installing a topit (since the important parts usually attach near your belt and hang down).

You could very easily modify a Cellini Topit to meet the criteria required for your jacket. It's entirely up to you and your imagination to make it work. Don't be discouraged by limits, rather use them to be a strength.
