Looks like another gaffless, impromptu, anytime wonder...
For those who haven't seen the effect, I have written out the basic effect below: Walk up to a spectator Have them grab your wrist... HARD Ask them to think of the name of any person they know After some time (un clear what goes on here) they let go of your wrist The finger marks left by their tight squeeze have formed into the initials of the person they were thinking of. This effect looks awesome. I hope it ends up as successful and effective as houchin's sinful.

Isn't this an old Banachek effect?
I believe something like this was on his PSI volume 2 DVD. |

It was produced by Ellusionist with Wayne. It will be available sometime this month, a few more weeks.
Banachek has a similar effect, but he has made statements saying that Wayne's is in no way a rehash, and Wayne's version is workable for anyone, where Banachek's supposedly has some more limitations. Banachek does appear on the new DVD, so I'm sure he and Wayne will discuss the differences between their effects. Search around, there are other threads on the topic. Kevin

You got the basic effect of the trick down, but I think you got one of the steps out of order...

This is just an old effect period. It's in the book The Magic of Jimmy Grippo. |

I heard that when the spectator removes their hand, there is a mark there. Not the initials. Then the mark visually changes into the initials. That sounds killer! The only thing I'm worried about is if it will actually be killer and not just a whole bunch of advertising. Most of what I've heard is that it will be good. I hope it is.

I have the effect. It lives up to its hype. People shouldn't compare it to Sinful though, two completely different types of tricks. I prefer doing version 2 of this involving the initials of a person. It's still a new trick, I can't wait to see what people come up with for their own versions.

I've gotten Stigmata a few weeks ago and it's actually an amazing effect. It makes me mad that I didn't think of it because it's so simple but if used the right way can be a reputation maker. It's one trick that I do with E.T. that keeps the spectators tripping over their jaws as they walk away.

Stigmata = amazing. The first day I received my copy of the DVD and watched it, I was out performing it right away. Quick to learn, and I love the effect. Great reactions. This is a must have for anyone with some freaky effects.
