Yeah that's right I know what ur thinkin, what an loser... but it's really starting to eat me up. I know as a magician ur not suppose to ask, but many people have told me a lot different things. Some people said it was black art. And I thought that in the first place as well, because a lot of his stuff is done with black art, but I am not completely convinced. Then it would lead me to beleive that he's using a gimmik of some sort (duh...) I'm sure of it and a reputable magician himself told me it is a gimmick on his arm which shoots out a packet of cards and he peels one of. But I don't think that's it either because he shows both sides of his hand, maybe he still has that gimmick on his hand but can show both sides without hesitation sort of like a good countionous front and back palm. Either way I just want to know what it is for sure. If no one knows then no problem, but could someone just tell me where I might be able to get my hands on a world's greatest magic video, Limewire, eMule, Kceasy and many others don't have it.
Thank you ver much |

Do a search. I imagine there are over a dozen threads started on this already.

Hmmmm,
This card production your speaking of is a application from coin magic. It is very old and was origionally used to produce a coin in quite the same Marvey uses it to produce a card. You can find it in books and I am sure someone here on the Café will be able to give you info on the name of that book... DJ |

Thank you for the welcome Derek. I have searched a lot but still no answers. But I will keep searching. Trix if it is a variation of an old coin production routine then I guess I'll eventually come across it maybe even in the BoBo's books. Thanks for ur help guys

If I recall correctly... you are looking for something called a 'Spider Gimmick.'
Other then that, I am of no more help here. Derek Merdinyan |

The only person who can tell you diffinitely what the gimmick is, is Peter Marvey, and he is not telling. It is not a commerical item and therefore adapted by him and only him. He may even have made it himself and not hired a craftsman to design and make it for him.
It is nothing more then a card catcher. If you cannot live without one, contact Peter Marvey and see if he will sell the idea to you. I am sure he has a price, but the question is do you have the resources to make an offer he cannnot refuse. |

A "spider gimmick" holds a silk shaped like a rose to your lapel.
