Is it easy to use this servante? Looks great.

I've seen this before, a guy using it in Tannens a long while ago in NYC. Took me 20 minutes to figure out how this guy was doing it. It's quite amazing, and there are other vids I've seen of an oriental guy using it in some unique ways to vanish a coin...Actually, I've seen two different ideas like this, one's a sevante, the other works differently but just as amazing. Great ideas, both of them.

I've always liked this idea, but I wish someone could find a way to make it in a more fashionable style......I'd never wear a tie that looks like soem of the patterns I've seen.....lol

I bought one of these about 15 yeas ago. They are great for vanishes. At the time they only had a blue and a red tie available. I bought it from Hank Lee.

Once you know how it works just have a tie made in the color and style that you like.

I made one years ago just to see if I could after seeing one like it in a Stevens catalog. It took two identical ties and some cutting and sewing. Wasn't that hard.

Do people wear ties?

And more importantly, how do you routine getting the coin out of the way so you can vanish another one that way. And... what about four coins in a clip?

Hi Jonathan,
I still wear ties!

The tie Servante is best for one vanish. Unless one of the objects will not talk.

Using a coin clip will not work. Think flat... the largest thing I vanished was a ring. Any larger and the tie will scream, "Hey, look at me!"

I hate to be picky but isn't this more of a topit than a servante?

Kinda depends on whether you run a tube down to your pants pocket.

I have seen it called a topit but I do not see it as such. A topit is in a certain place on the person. A tie cannot be a topit because it is worn around the neck where a topit is placed elsewhere. A topit is used to toss objects into. You cannot toss an object into this tie. To use the tie items must be placed or dropped into it.

I understand your thinking, but would a topit placed at the back of a table be called a servant or topit? It would have to be called a servant. Because it is not being used as a topit anymore. Get the point.

If you pushed off a block of cards and turn them over as one, is this a multiple lift? Is a Double lift a block of cards?

Hey Kjell, here's the other idea I was speaking of above...different premise but along the same lines of the tie. Some nice applications with this version too. Let me know what you guys think. -MB

Love the way the video talks of a "wallet frame". Calling it that makes it much less effeminate!

How many grey flowers can you make appear on the tie?

Fred Kaps used it a lot. I think Norm Nielsen is the maker? http://www.nnmagic.com

Mb217 -- lots of good stuff with that one.

Hey Pete Biro,
Do you know who sold or sells the cummerbund that is a servant? (I hope that I spelled cummerbund right)

I thought it was Norm Nielsen but I did not see it on his web site.

Any coin or small ring will work with this necktie servante. This is for a coin vanish that you do not want to reproduce. You can only reproduce a duplicate. You must excuse yourself to reset.
