Several years ago I started using a boiled hot dog in my act. I searched and searched for a fake one and found this firm after several months. At the time they limited their sales to large orders (greater than $1,000). They sent me a couple of hot dogs free, because they hadn't sold to a magician before and thought that it was cool. Today, I found out that they now offer their products on line. This food doesn't compress, but it looks as real as you can get if you have a need to have food in your act.

I use a fake lemon for chop cup final loads. It's heavy but it never rots and I don't have to remember to stop at the store for lemons. I guess tennis balls would be better.

I have once bought some plastic apples and forgot they are being plastic.
I tried to be eating one and it was tasting horrible. I am rather be eating a real apple (I am not a robot!) Ha ha!
Think not what magic can do for you, but what you can do for magic.

Both of those links are very cool. I like to produce things that are totally unexpected. Thanks.
