Yes... its been talked about on the Café before.
Don't really know if it "means" anything to me other than meaning a lot of work for a card reveal.... What kind of answer are you looking for? |

I've heard of that trick - they say it's eggselent!
I think it's a VERY old trick that could be found somewhere in the Encyclopedia of egg tricks. Happy Easter!!! Kaylan |

For your consideration, Sankey has a routine of a signed card revealed inside a raw egg. It's impromptu but a bit messy.

The trick that sankey explains on "paperclipped" is messy ,that's true.
I've tried it out how he suggests it , at a party and I got better reactions than I expected. I think you should give it a try , maybe you'll like it. good luck ! -Matt

Sorry, lawrens I goofed. I meant Stanyon's Magic. I checked out the entire thing (it's like an encyclopedia) and there were some egg tricks in vol. 4 from 1903, but they were different ones. I'll keep looking - I know I've seen that one somewhere - not eggsactly sure where though.

Ok, Kaylan, thanx !
It's eggstremely difficult for me to find the origin of this effect : it's not a card reveal, where you find it inside the egg...Instead, the NAME of the card is written on the little "skin" which surround the (hard-boiled) egg. Unfortunately, I don't have the Stanyon to search in... Don't be sorry, Kaylan You don't have to eggscuse yourself... See you later around the forum ! |
