Step one, if it's all that important pick up a phone and call them. My experience is most companies have phones.
Step two, never click links in emails from businesses. Be wary of clicking links from trusted sources. Ebay, Banks, etc. are not trusted sources, at least not by me.
Step three, get offline and take a walk outside.
