I said you "popularized" and "refined" the existing technique (which is essentaily the exact same thing you said in your last post). I was also the person who first indicated that this effect was an inferior handling of something you had already worked on. Of course you wouldn't know what I wrote because all you do is search for your name and immediately start defending yourself. Sad. |

I know this is an old thread, but someone just reminded me of it. So, although no one cares and I'm sure no one will read it, it will make me feel better to answer Magicsquared, whether or not he cares. a) I know what you wrote. b) What the h*** is wrong with "defending yourself"? Which is what YOU just did. Do you mean you can but I can't. THAT'S sad. HARRY LORAYNE.

Whereas I defended myself against something you clearly stated. That is an important distinction, wouldn't you say? You should have been happy because for once on the Magic Café someone besides yourself (namely me) was crediting you with something. Instead, you were too busy scanning the Café for mentions of your name to actually read the thread. One might have hoped that if you were going to dredge up such an old thread that at some point in the ensuing two years since the last post you would have taken the time to read it through so you could properly respond to it. |

Hey Magicsquared, you know, you're right. I did read the originals too quickly. You're right again, I do scan quickly to see not only my name (a person's name is his most prized possession - to quote myself from one of my books on memory) but anything else, any subject, that looks interesting to me. In any case, I didn't mean to "come down on you" so strongly, and was, obviously, wrong to do so. Please accept my sincere apology. HARRY LORAYNE.
