There is a huge collection of three-card monte and shell game patter, both rhyming doggeral and prose here:

These include both historical and contemporary patter for spieling the broads and nuts.

I was just wondering if anyone knows or has heard of a poem about two kings throwing dice? There was a guy in a bar once rattling the thing off, I liked it then but didn't think to ask him for the name of it or write it down. Basically it ends with "Olaf" rolling 13 (one Die splits). that's all I can remember about it. If anyone knows it or can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

I believe it comes from the "Sanskrit poem from the Mahabharata"
"The New York Papers," Mark Twain once said,"have long known that no large question is ever really settled until I have been consulted; it is the way they feel about it, and they show it by always sending to me when they get uneasy. "
