I was wonder if anyone knew a way to make a billard ball grow to the size of the kinetic sphere. I would love to put the kinetic sphere into my act, but this is the only place I could find that it would fit and I can't come up with a method. Thanks for the help in advance.

We made one of these years ago for John Mendoza and I'll tell you what- if you're looking for a way to make this effect happen for about a grand, then this is the one for you!
The growing ball apparatus is technically beautiful and, for the most part, wildly expensive. It also suffers somewhat from looking absolutely out of place in a modern act. The technology behind it could conceivably be built into something modern... sort of like the act featured on last month's Genii.

I looked at this, but it is too expensive. I was looking for a change with more of a sleight-of-hand approach. Thank you for the ideas though, I might end up having to use one of them.
