Steve needs to work on some of his moves. I've seen most of that stuff done better.

Welcome to the board!

1. Lying to get people to look at your video...pathetic.

2. COMPLETE rip-off of shade (quotation)...pathetic.

3. Card Handling...

...would you like some constructive criticism?

Sorry, that came off harsh. Maybe you were just kidding...but the whole shade thing irked me.

Push-through: watch it back on tape...if you saw someone shuffle like that, would you be suspicious? Too slow and hesitant, and don't cross both packets...just one. Strip out's are not at all up to working speed.

Mucking: Don't hesitate...one smooth back and forth motion.

Bottom deal: Hand's look akward on tape...but the deal looks kinda smooth (i can't really tell because of the quality of the video). Still looks fishy.

Above all, work on timing it to look just like the real thing.

What do you want us to say to this?

Ohh haha. It's not yours. I sincerley apologize O J.

Your comment about the push through has me LMAO.

I don't think that is Steve Forte unless he was very young.....his technique was better in his published videos.

I don;t want to say the the person performing was not good..he was...but, the Steve Forte today is much better !

Clock didn't you make a movie where the basic theme was from shade? Especially the first part.
I guess you've forgotten about that.
Any way the video was good, there wasn't to much in there that didn't look awsome.
BTW I thought it was clever that he labled his post the way he did.
you can fool all of the people some of the time and some of the people all the time but never all of the people all the time.

"COMPLETE rip-off of shade (quotation)...pathetic. "

He had the same quote, the same music, and almost the exact same moves from the opening title...but that's fine...it wasn't a serious thing. I thought it was O J trying to be clever and get people to look at his video, but it was a joke. It frustrated me at the time. It was late and I was tired and I didn't understand that it wasn't his video; that is why I clearly apologized above.

My film is about two teenage kids who cheated at cards, and the mechanic was caught. His friend left him behind, and he got severley beaten up. The rest of the story is about the final game between them 15 years later...the drunken mitt...and has a "Robin Hood" type theme (steal from the rich, give to the poor).

My opening title sequence has the credits printed on the backs of cards, has a sequence of moves (just the basic mucks, bottoms, and centers...nothing flashy) in black and white, and my quote is by Henry Ford.

I also stated it was just for fun, and was a cinematography experiment.

Once again, I apologizd for my remark. But I will still stand by the fact that the moves were weak.

Clock,
You made a film which was "inspired" by shade if I remember right.

Truth teller,
That’s one heck of a receding hairline.

Expert,
It wasn't my nifty digits you saw in the video. And I might be wrong about it being Steve forte. That’s a nice picture you have Smile

Wessmiller,
Enough with the booing and hissing already!

Sodman,
Well spotted Dr Watson.

Mr .Z

I wasn't aware the Doctor cooked for his patients. And do people still use the word momma?. In that case, your momma is so fa....

O'Malley,
Why on earth are you looking at the ceiling whilst playing that awful contraption?

Oh gee, someone is making fun of the accordian again. Oh how original and not at all blatantly obvious. How do you think of such put downs.

BTW, I'm also wearing big glasses, and am bald. In case you hadn't noticed.

(for the record, I'm looking at the ceiling because I have no idea how to play the thing)

I guess it takes one to know one. Still I am amazed you can tell that just by the way he handles a deck. Cool!
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

Mr Simpson,

Truth be told, I was looking at the ceiling because I was trying to adopt the classic "Frankie Yankovic" pose. As for the wig and glasses and such, David Cross is making this look hip again, so I'll hang onto it for now.
