Thank you very very much. With a few modifications
this might work for something that I have been playing with. I should have thought of that myself. Dave |

I see a lot of possibilities in distorting the images of the ghosts. Nice idea!

This could be very effective with a Polaroid camera. Simply switch out one of the unopened photos, use it to take a spirit photo, then replace it. You now have a spirit photo taken by one guest with another guest in it. Ideas on how to use this technique with a digital camera without being to obvious?
Thanks, Dave |

The first lenticular "ghost portraits" that went into the consumer market came from the haunt market a few years ago. You have to understand that this is a very strange cabal with its own social rules, politics, and sliding scale ethics very parallel to that in which we are immersed as magicians.
In other words, people sometimes look for problems and others capitalize upon these people to advance their own business. At a national tradeshow a few years ago, an African-American female press reporter was going around the displays and looking under the hoods of every hanging mannequin to see if the skin tone was black or white (hanging black mannequin=lynching) when a helpful haunter pointed her in the direction of a competitor. On one of his how-to tapes, this competitor talked about how scared his audiences were of a large black man with a machete in his attraction, and how people are just naturally scared of a large black man with a machete. Well, this caused a bit of bad press for a lot of people in haunting. So, the fact that you DON'T see ghost portaits of certain races is probably because of THREATS of lawsuits from this incident and the domino effect that it had. That being said, the fastest and best-quality work you will find is here: http://www.theghoulishgallery.com/index.htm Send Tim an email with your suggestion and it will probably happen in a couple of months. He also does custom work! Chris |

Nah, don't buy it, one bit...its just doesn't cross their minds...this genre has always catered to...the european, TT included...and I know I Know, a true mage could use a RED TT successfully..
the point I was making was tongue in cheek..im soooooo used to trying to find the right skin toned gaff, or what have you... I think ill create a new IBM, internation BROTHA-HOOD of magicians... hahahHAHAHAHA..COME ON CAN I GET A LUGH HERE FOLKS? |
