Does anyone know a place where I could buy a blindfold that I'd be able to see
through while juggling? It doesn't have to be really see-through , just enough to be able to see what I'm juggling. Thanks , Ben |

You can find these at just about any magic shop. You can also just as easy make one yourself, but if you get one from a magic shop it will be of better quality. At magic shops you can also get a blindfold made out of metal.

Ask for the Raja Blindfold...Or just go to a fabric store and get some black gauze fabric and make one yourself.

Just a thought... I know I am a bit anal when it comes to things. Audience doesn't believe in blindfolds, they believe in buckets. The real deal.

You could just learn to do it actually blindfolded if you have the time to practice I can almost do it. when I'm practising I start juggling then slowly close my eyes

I have very poor vision, so just taking off my glasses works for me!
I have tried the blindfold thing while juggling before, and as Ark said, you just don't get the reation because the audiences do believe in blindfolds. I like the idea of a pail though. |

I make the joke that I can juggle without looking then take off my glasses. Then I take out a blindfold, black strip of material with a large hole in it. I double that over not using the part with the hole and put it on a child member of the audience and ask them how many fingers I am hold up as I have it wrapped around their head. With it doubled over it is too thick to see through. When they say they don't know how many fingers, I say, I'll give you a hint, my hands are on he side of your head.
This convinces the audience that it can't be seen through. I then turn to my side, facing my case and put the blindfold on with the hole over the eye faceing away from the audience. I then fumble for my clubs and juggle them. The kids tell me I am facing the wrong way and I turn facing the audience revieling the hole. They scream. I make a joke about darn moths and turn the blindfold so that it is covering my eyes. Without it being doubled over, I can see through it enough to see the shadows of the clubs which is all I need. |

If you're a pretty good juggler you can probably juggle three balls with your eyes closed with a little bit of practice. If you can look through your pattern while juggling you can probably begin making progress with that trick. I sometimes use that to open my juggling routine. Audiences aren't too impress with juggling with your eyes closed. I can get about 20 seconds of it before dropping...

Speaking of buckets, I saw a hilarious bucket joke recently. Two buckets over the head with a hole cut in each to see the face, then you rotate the outer one and turn your head, and it makes it look like you're spinning you're head 360 degrees. It was well funny...sorry to distract the topic!
