I recited this to a couple of guys at work that rap.
I cracked them up but it especially killed the one that I've been helping to bring some of his words alive.
I like it but it still lacks that indefinable something.

Wiffle Dust

Step right up ladies and take a seat
I got a product here you'll find wicked sweet
It's so tiny you can hide it any place
And it's hypoallergenic so you can hide it on your face
(wiffle dust)
I can't even tell you everything it will do
Because its potential is only limited by you
And I get testimonials that just go on
Like, (sniff) "Without Wiffle Dust I couldn't put my show on" (SNIFF)
Or this one here written in Spanish
It translates, "Better than the Fearson Vanish,
I just take a hand full and blow it in the crowds' eyes
When they open them up I'm in disguise
Or, "Over night it made a wizard of me
now I'm gonna order a case or three"
Wiffle Dust is a must
You'll find it true I trust

(Vater Co. jingle)
Only I can promise you this
Buy all of our products and you'll find bliss
But for now just enjoy the show
And when it's done send me all of your dough.

By the way I should mention that this is part of a bigger concept that I would like to implement. A lesson if you will.

The line about the Fearson vanish will only be understood by other magicians, of course. Aside from that, it's quite good, I think. I would use a shortened version in your show, if you plan to use it that way.

I threw in the Fearson mention to help me spot brethren.
The way It flows, it only takes about 90 seconds and Im going to try to do as many effects as I possibly can cram into that time frame.
I wont be happy until It comes off like a fast paced infomercial.

Vater, I LOVE it! Great concept. I hope you'll let us know when you've got it working.

My contribution: After the line "Or this one here written in Spanish", recite it in Spanish FIRST, then give the translation. This would create a challenge for the meter and rhyme, but I think it would provide a change-up that would refocus attention. Just a thought.

Mejor que el Fearson Vanish, apenas tomo una mano por completo y la soplo en los ojos de las muchedumbres cuando los abren para arriba que estoy en disfraz

Sprinkling a lil "wiffle dust" always raises eyebrows.
Even if you can't see it.
Hey, It's fun.
