Mine is an ambitious card routine, ending with the card to wallet using the Pimpernel wallet. An absolute killer each time!! If you don't have a Pimpernel wallet you should. Everything is done right under their noses and they're absolutely NOTHING they can see.

My three phase card routine, ending in "Think A Card".
My version of "Mismade Bill". Sponge Balls, based on Steve Dacri's routine. |

"Dr Strangetrick" from Mike Close.
I was doing magic in the Atlanta airport a few weeks back while waiting for a plane and got a roaring reaction. Since I perform primarily for friends and family it was great to get such a response from complete strangers. Jeff |

I also close my strolling set with an ambitious card followed by a card to (LePaul) wallet. These are two of the strongest effects I do (although my Copper & Silver is getting pretty good too)!

I seem to get the greatest reactions from either Homing Card or Las Vegas Leaper so I usually close with one or the other.

Dear All,
I showed 1 of my bestfrinds Las Vegas Leaper and she looked at the deck, with that lokk of How the $£%^ did you do that, I always get great reactions from that trick... And also The Combo of 8 card brainwave and red hot mama is always a winner.. Regards James |

I believe the best effect I perform, that gets the greatest reactions and that I often here them telling the waiters or waitresses or other strangers about what they just witnessed is Deja Vu by Carl Andrews. Its a dream card effect. I always close with this.

My handling of the ring and rope routine Full Circle gets tremendous audience reactions as well as Jon Allen's Doubleback for which I've developed a stand-up handling in addition to close-up.

One of my most requested tricks is the vanishing shot glass of liquid (I use water) and then producing it in an impossible location. (usually my pocket)

The best reactions, biggest jaw droppers for me have to be:
(1) "Between the Palms", from M. Ammar (2) "Valentine Deck" John George's version of hanuted deck in which card literally flips OUT of the deck into the air! (3) Card to Ceiling (4) Various incarnations of "card to impossible location" (i.e. card to wallet, card to lemon, card to shoe, etc.)

The Raven is great for me
If a magician is not intending to "trick" a spectator, why is every "trick" called a magic "trick"?

my best trick is entitled, or what i was told titled "here then there"
effect: spec. picks a card, puts in the deck.. magi gives the deck a flick, card comes to the top. Magi then puts that card in the spec. hands, they sandwich the card, then they show the next card as indifferent. Magic takes that card, and waves it over the spec. hand, and card changes place with card in hand. Nate |
