Hello everyone!

Okay, so I am putting together a kids magic show and I want to end it with the production of my sister's live rabbit. But I do not know what I should get to accomplish this! I would love any advice you can give me! Thanks!

Depending on the size of the rabbit, a Bunny Box.

I use to end my birthday shows with the production of a rabbit... I did a Doves to Rabbit called a Bim-Bam Box... I'd do a bit of pulling a rabbit from a hat... I would make a rabbit silk appear from a hat... then place it in the Bim-Bam Box... Viola... produce the real rabbit... It was a cool ending... The kids loved the rabbit...

Just an idea...

Hi Matty.
Morrissey Magic sells a very nice rabbit pan, same principle as the dove pan.
I have been using it in my show for years.
This rabbit pan has many good features---very light---large enough for a good size bunny and very hardy.
If you do get one, take a drill and bore a hole in the knob for air space.

Matty, there are many choices. Bunny box, mirror box, drawer box, rabbit pan, Circus wagon, transformation cage just to name a few. You need to research each one to find which fits your act the best.

I like Abbott's Elusive Bunny Box. As Bob mentioned, the size of the rabbit is important. Abbott's box would not be suitable for a full grown, large breed bunny.

Duane Laflin had a video that gave a good overview of many ways to produce rabbits. I think it was called the "Rabbit Production: video".

Ok I am still having trouble. I guess what I want to know is what is the best for the money? Thanks!

Matty, all of the suggestions given are good ones. You have to pick which is right for you and what fits in your act. When it comes to animals, it's never a good thing to buy cheap just because it's affordable.

Matty,

I agree with Dave. There are many good bunny production boxes available. Good ones don't come cheap.

As a last resort, look me up (or PM me), I may be able to build something for you at a reasonable price....

I use Wolf's Magic Funhouse. It looks fantastic. The kids love it and it's fun to do.

When all else fails, MAK makes a Jumbo Roll-on Square Circle that you could use for this and loads of other things. (You may actually appreciate the wheels if you can't have a real curtain.)

I use one sometimes working in the flat (ballroom type facilities) where there is no stage, no curtains, and no privacy.

I have the Ultimate Production Box, believe it was made by Ickle Pickle. I liked it because it was large enough to carry the bunny into the home (for birthday parties). I just don't use it much now, since I have pirchased other props. It was a geat buy for the money and has served me well.
