I'm looking for people who would like to take part in a link exchange. I'll put a link to your page on my website if you do the same for me!


For those who do not know, Google ranks you higher if relevant sites with similar content to yours contain links to your site. These are called backlinks. The more you have, the higher you rank. So magicians linking to magicians is like google crack!

The link exchange thing may or may not work. Google changes their criteria at the drop of a hat. If they see that exchanged links are up, they will go for relevant text.

If your search engine optimization information is over a year old, discard it.

Since I started doing link exchanges, I have jumped from 57 to 4 on google.

For those who are keen to join in the link exchange I can say that it currently does work. Although different areas, browsers etc give up different results, the ranking tool I use ranks me on my most relevant search as follows:

Google 3
Yahoo! 2
MSN 5
AOL 3
Alta Vista 1
AllThe Web 1
Yahoo! Direct. 2
