Does anyone have this and, if so, have you actually found a way to use it? The idea is great but it just doesn't work as far as I can work out. The TT can NOT be removed from the tube without using a good deal of force and certainly not without being noticed. Can anyone help?

I have this item and I agree with you on both counts, that the idea is terrific but the handling needs work. But my main bone of contention is picking up the tube without looking suspicious. I found the fake can be taken more easily if it is slightly moistened, though how practical that is for show conditions I don't know. I was about to sell this item but decided the effect is so visual that it merits a little work, so I decided to make it one of those 'hobby magic' projects to try to solve the issues I mentioned. One thought I have is to try to use one of the older type tts that are not rubber but hard plastic, just need to find the right one. Alternatively, maybe change it entirely and use a straight tube instead, working in the style of the classic dye tube.

I believe I had this trick a long time ago. Is this the one where the tube turns into rings, if it is, I place this effect along side "Killer Red Caps" which I rate 0 out of 10.
