I'm trying to attract more adults and less childeren to my acts.
Without dirty limericks...
Actually I like limericks. But no actual obscene words.
Any ideas. Anywhere to look?

You can see Doc Eason perform Stan, Kate and Edith on one of the Real Work Videos.
Thanks for the link, I have been looking for the trick and every shop says it's not being made anymore.

Thanks for that.
I was actually looking for jokes.

Gazzo has a great one for a baldy like me.

"the more hair you loose, the more head you get"

if you get it, then you probably won't be offended by it. if you don't get it, it's perfectly innocent.

anyone have similar?

I saw a Dora the Explorer magician at a kids show. She used a suggestive joke. I'm by all means a prude, and the joke was missed by the kids, but I was strangely put off. I would try changing venues, seeming inappropriate where kids are present could jeopardize your reputation.

Whit Haydn's material with Mongolian Pop Knot and 4 ring routine have enough that you need. (And there not bad to get the easily offended upset)

I saw a great magician on a cruise do Stan, Kate, and Edith. He was obviously one who got the performance down perfectly. Great routine without actually saying the words. It's almost like The Contest on Seinfeld. Nothing is said, but you know what's implied. haha

Stan, Kate and edith is one of my all time favorites and if kids are at the venue it will go right over there heads. Very funny routine

If you do balloon models and make a poodle, the suck technique for the tail works well with the line "I'm teachng my wife to do this!"

I knew a man who kept saying "pliers, pincers, scissors". He was speaking in tongs.

I got my SKE directly from Doc at one of his lectures.

You really need the real thing, if only because they are plastic. Plastic ones have a quality that makes them work much better. That's all I'd better say.

I had a "home-made" set I printed on posterboard when I first learned the routine. Trust me, you want the "real deal". I hope they go back into production. (Hmmm....actually, I don't! I already got mine! lol)

But more on topic: SKE is the perfect routine for dancing up to the "line" but not crossing it. It's one of my most requested bits, but I don't do it when children are present.

So is the version of SKE at:

not the "REAL THING"?

Kerry is selling the 'real thing' but the colors are not exactly true. Plus... I don't know what his cards from Kerry are printed on.

We are planning on printing the cards on the same stock as the cards from Mississippi Card Co. They are plastic and easily cleaned and should last forever! As long as they don't get warped.

A key player in this is overseas so the timing is a bit up in the air.

I do SKE at every performance...... I had large cards made up as the normal ones are too small for a stage trick.

Well it is 4 balls but ok.

Anyhow I think your choice of material aside if you attracting kids, it is the advertising for the show at fault.
