Hey, I was wondering about the vanish where the assistant sits in the chair and is covered by the cloth and then vanishes?
What is this illusion called? Can I build it myself on a lower budget? Please PM me, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi Dark,
This is called the DeKolta chair vanish. I believe plans are available from dealers who sell Paul Osborne plans. Hope this helps. Respectfully, John |

The Dekolta Chair is part of Osborne's plans. If you'd like to possibly save money, this illusion is in Osbornes Illusion Systems book two. You can pay $40 for this book and get a dozen or so illusion plans, or you can spend $25 on just the Dekolta Chair plans. Just a couple options for you. I believe this illusion can be built pretty cheap, depending on your choices for different types of detail. Hope this helps!

"Osbornes Illusion Systems book two"
Does anybody know where I can buy this in the UK? I've had no luck finding it anywhere... a US seller who ships abroad would also be ok. Thanks a lot |

I know that these plans can be purchased from Tannens Online magic shop. They are located in New York, but I believe they have international shipping. You should check them out.

Jaeiii, in Tannensmagic, there are a lot of other illusion plans too. Are they good and reliable? Have you had anyone of them?

cardfreakhk,
I have bought several of the single illusion plans and then bought a couple of the books. The plans are just a larger version of what is in the book. The plans are about $25 and the books (which have upwards of a dozen illusions) are about $40-$50. In my opinion the books are a much better deal. I am just trying to collect the plans. Both the plans in the book and just the plans themself are far from exact demensions, if you have experience with building then you should be able to figure it out pretty well. I hope this help if you have any other questions then PM me.

Cardfreak,
I have ordered some of their books and single illusion plans. Skilusion is correct when saying that ordering the book is probably a better deal, but if you are interested in just the one illusion, the single illusion plans work well aslo. I have found that both are good blueprints. I enjoy the single b/c they are much larger, and I think maybe a little more detail, but the books are really good also.
